The Netherlands Food Partnership is working with an external party to develop a serious game about the informal market. This external party is positioned in a country where the informal market is very active. They have a good understanding of the situation and cultural issues and the right connections. However, the Netherlands Food Partnership also wanted help from someone with more experience in learning and behavioural change within serious games.
Throughout the complete development of the game, I advise both the Netherland Food Partnership and the external party to ensure the learning impact. Among other things, I help in uncovering the main issues, formulating the learning objectives and which game dynamics and mechanics are most suitable to achieve behavioural change

I also regularly give workshops or talks on serious games. I like to share my best practices with others to inspire them and enjoy helping organisations develop their own serious games.
I give workshops and training in how to get from learning question to prototype for a case of your own organisation. I also give presentations and workshops to provide insight in how to answer certain learning questions with serious games or specific game elements.
