Instant impact at the workplace

Give employees the tools to do things differently immediately.

“For that, you have to ask our manager.”

Employees often want to change, but they are not given or have no responsibility. Training or workshops feel imposed or they are not given permission to make their own changes. As a result, they increasingly put the responsibility on someone else.

Employees take a mandatory e-learning module every year. It feels like a obligation and they want to get rid of it as soon as possible. Many of them write down the correct answers and distribute them to colleagues. However, some take it seriously and conclude that something needs to change in the way they work. After much work, they have written a presentation and a clear proposal. In the end, however, it has to go past so many people that the proposal slowly disappears.

With my serious games shown below, employees are empowered to achieve change themselves and with their team. These games are aimed at giving insight into their own and colleagues’ actions. The games also offer support to get started (as a team) with concrete action points in the working environment.

Calm the coop

Many organisations experience employee dropouts due to stress or burnout complaints. Satisfaction surveys often show that employees regularly experience stress. There are solutions aimed at managers, but not aimed at the employees themselves.

Calm the coop empowers employees to tackle work-related stress themselves. The blended game (on phone and with card set) adapts to each employee, bringing personal insights on how to recognise and tackle work-related stress. In addition, teams work together to come up with concrete action points to reduce stress in their own work environment.

Growcode

Nowadays, employees need to keep developing continuously. Companies offer all kinds of training and development opportunities, but find that they are not always used. Employees often get in their own way: ‘I’m just not good with numbers’ or ‘I’m just chaotic’. Such beliefs prevent them from taking up development opportunities.

In the engaging escaperoom Growcode, employees discover how to release these limiting beliefs with the growth mindset. They understand how they can improve their own development and get tools to easily sustain it.
